My name in the masthead!

I've been pretty non-stop since graduation, not that i'm complaining! I've been lucky enough to have done 3 internships since August, the first being at Glamour magazine. Glamour has always been one of my favourite titles, i've been a subscriber for a good 5/6 years and it's always been somewhere I longed to work. I was absolutely over the moon when I was offered a 3-month paid internship on the art desk (yes - paid!!) and the experience certainly didn't dissapoint. Not only is Glamour just a great magazine to work for, the people there are some of the most inspiring, dedicated and friendly people i've ever worked with. It was such an amazing opportunity for me, i honestly loved being there every day, and seeing my name in the masthead was just brilliant! In short, my role included assisting mainly on the art desk (creating page layouts, helping on photoshoots, scanning, making pdfs/contact sheets/updating the wall & dummy), but also on the picture desk (picture research/uploading & metadating images/ filing / picture credits / cataloging images) and a little on the subs desk (compiling the stockists/saving files to system). I would love to end up back there one day!
